Versatile Roofing Fastener for Steel, Wood, and Concrete Decks | #3 Phillips Drive
The SFS Dekfast #14 Fastener is a general-purpose roofing fastener engineered for secure membrane and insulation attachment to steel, wood, and concrete substrates. With a corrosion-resistant cathodic epoxy e-coat and 13 threads per inch, this fastener is optimized for strong pull-out resistance and clean penetration across multiple deck types.
Its low-profile truss head is recessed for use in membrane systems and clip applications where head height is limited. The #3 Phillips drive ensures consistent installation with reduced cam-out.
Key Features:
- Drive Type: Extra stable #3 Phillips drive with recessed truss head
- Thread Design: 13 TPI for optimized performance in concrete and wood
- Corrosion Resistant: Cathodic epoxy e-coat with 800-hour salt spray protection
- Low-Profile Head: Ideal for applications requiring minimal surface protrusion
- Code Approved: Florida Building Code Approved (FL20311)
Material Strength:
- Tensile: 3,150 lbf
- Shear: 1,600 lbf
- Torsional: 90 lbf∙in
Pull-Out Strength:
- Steel (18 ga): 902 lbf
- 2x Lumber (1" penetration): 1,422 lbf
- 3/4" FR Plywood: 460 lbf
- Concrete (4000 psi, 1" embedment): 1,150 lbf
